Record number of nominations already received for Cleaver Awards

With over 44 000 nominations already received, and still six weeks to go until nominations close, this year’s Cleaver Awards are set to be the biggest to date.

These national butchery awards are still the sought-after seal of approval that recognises those butcheries that meet the needs of their consumers in terms of in-store hygiene, the supply of quality assured roller marked South African Beef, their ability to offer the best advice on meal preparations as well as perceived value for money.

Register to win

What makes this number of votes even more impressive is that this year, for the first time in the 15 years since these Awards began, butcheries are required to register in order to be eligible for nomination.

Nominate your favourite butcheries

Registered butcheries are each allocated a unique code and consumers can use this code to nominate their favourite butcheries online. If your choice of butchery is not registered, please urge them to register at www.beeftalk.co.za.

Nominations are open until the end of March 2020 and the awards will be announced at the end of May. Follow Beeftalk on Facebook to keep updated with all the latest Beef and Cleaver Award news.
